Living Legacies Scrapbooking Ministry
As an avid scrapbooker I understand the importance of preserving my family’s memories. It has become such an important part of my life; from my Close to my Heart business to my friends and family, I want to share it with as many people as possible. When I started thinking of a way to give back, it was only natural for me to think of scrapbooking and how I could use it to help others. From that desire and a lot of praying, Living Legacies was born. God has been so good in providing the people, supplies and opportunity for this wonderful ministry!
Our mission is to help elderly adults preserve their precious memories while allowing them to be creative in documenting their family history. As you know, scrapbooking can be a very expensive hobby. We wanted to be able to provide all of the supplies free of charge and leave them at the facility for the residents to use at their leisure. Since scrapbooking materials are mostly consumable, we are always in need of supply donations.
Needed Supplies:
• Adhesives (glue sticks, tape runners etc)
• 12x12 photo albums
• Scrapbooking paper
• Stickers
• Paper cutters
• Journaling pens
